This is a guide to help you set up the overlay textures of *R!* White Sci-fi Bodysuits for UTILIZATOR Kemono and *R!* Black Sci-fi Bodysuits for UTILIZATOR Kemono. This is just for the overlay appliers!
PART 1: Applying the bodysuit overlay texture to your Kemono!
★ 1:
Wear a copy of your Kemono body or drop it on the ground (if you use body add-ons, do the same to them). DO NOT be wearing a Kemono body that you don't want its skin changed, because the applier will change its skin!
Search in your inventory for the overlay Kemono applier that you’re going to use.
In this example, I’m using the “Kemono Applier Sci-fi Bodysuit #1 white - overlay”.
The numbers in the name of each applier (#1, #2, #3, #4, #5) mean the type of the bodysuit.
★ 2:
Wear or drop the sci-fi bodysuit overlay Kemono applier on the ground.
I’ve dropped the “Kemono Applier Sci-fi Bodysuit #1 white - overlay” on the ground.
★ 3:
Click the applier and select “Load All” from the menu.
★ 4:
The sci-fi bodysuit overlay texture has been applied to the Kemono body.
If there is no transparency and the texture looks opaque like in this image: right-click the Kemono body and select Edit…
★ 5:
While in Edit, go to the “Texture” tab.
Under “Alpha mode”, click the “None” button and change the setting from “None” to “Alpha blending”.
★ 6:
Alpha mode has been set as Alpha blending.
★ 7:
Now the texture has transparency like it should.
PART 2: Applying the normal & specular maps to your Kemono!
★ 8:
Search in your inventory for the script that will apply normal and specular maps to the Kemono body.
I will use the “Kemono Applier Sci-fi Bodysuit #1 normal & specular maps” script in this example.
★ 9:
Right-click the Kemono body and select Edit.
Go to “Content” tab.
Click and drag the script from your inventory into the “Content” tab of the Kemono body.
I’m using the “Kemono Applier Sci-fi Bodysuit #1 normal & specular maps” script in this example.
★ 10:
The script is now inside the “Content” tab of the Kemono body.
★ 11:
Click the Kemono body.
Select “Apply” from the menu.
★ 12:
The normal and specular maps have been applied to your Kemono body.
★ 13:
The normal and specular maps make your Kemono body detailed and shiny whenever you have Atmospheric shaders and Advanced Lighting Model enabled in your Graphics Preferences (Preferences > Graphics > General).
PART 3: Deleting the scripts and wearing the bodysuit!
★ 14:
Right-click your Kemono and select “Edit”.
While in Edit, go to the “Content” tab.
Select everything in “Content” tab.
Right-click the selection and hit “Delete” to delete the scripts and animations that you won’t need in the bodysuit overlay.
★ 15:
There are no scripts inside the Kemono bodysuit overlay now.
★ 16:
In “General” tab, change the name of this Kemono body to something like: “Kemono Sci-fi Suit Overlay”.
Take this bodysuit back to your inventory (right-click > Take).
★ 17:
Wear the unedited Kemono body with the skin you want to use.
Find in your inventory the Kemono Sci-fi Suit Overlay that you’ve edited and Add it to your outfit (right-click it in your inventory and select “Add”). Wear it as a second layer above your Kemono.
★ 18:
Now you are done!
You are wearing the Kemono and the sci-fi bodysuit above it.
Also...
If the overlay texture of your Sci-fi Bodysuits for Kemono are becoming invisible while you’re wearing them, it’s probably because the Kemono skin you are using is PNG and therefore has an alpha (transparency channel) which might be causing problems to the bodysuits, since the suits also have alpha, because they must have transparency. But the Kemono skin doesn’t need transparency. So, in order to resolve this, you must edit the Kemono body that has the Kemono skin you are using. Put the Kemono body on the ground, edit it, go to Texture tab and under the Alpha mode, select: “None” instead of “Alpha blending”. That should resolve any transparency issues!
If you can’t set up the Sci-fi Bodysuits for Kemono, then I can do it for you in SL.
